We’re thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr. Gali Halevi (PhD) as our new Senior Scientific Advisor at SCImago Research Group, coinciding with our 16th anniversary. Dr. Halevi brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team, having previously served as the Director of The Institute for Scientific Information at Clarivate, a renowned global information services company specializing in data analytics for scientific and academic research.
With a background in strategic project development and a focus on Open Science initiatives, Dr. Halevi’s addition to our team marks an exciting opportunity for the growth and advancement of our platforms. Her leadership and insights will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and expand our offerings in the scientific community.
Prior to her role at Clarivate, Dr. Halevi held positions as the chief director of the Mount Sinai Health System libraries and as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine. She has also made significant contributions to infometric tools for Elsevier’s leading products and served on the editorial board of Research Trends. With a strong foundation in information science, Dr. Halevi received her Master’s in Library and Information Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and her PhD in Information Science from Long Island University in New York.
